Watermarking & Blending Photos

Overlaying images is a fundamental editing technique used daily for watermarking brand creatives, building double exposures (often seen in music album artwork and movie posters), or creating multi-layered meme assets.

Our tool grants you granular precision. Instead of simply stacking images, you can control scale, exact mathematical positions on an X/Y axis grid, rotation curves, and access advanced graphic design "Blend Modes" algorithmically rendered natively within the HTML5 Canvas.

Adding a Brand Watermark

Protecting digital photography is essential. Upload your photograph as the Background, and select a transparent PNG logo as the Overlay. Lower the Opacity slider to around 30-40% so the watermark remains visible but doesn't ruin the subject of the photograph.

The Magic of Blend Modes

Blend modes mathematically combine the pixels of both images instead of merely stacking them. For example: Multiply hides whiteboard/white backgrounds, leaving ink overlays perfect for sketches. Screen removes black backgrounds, making it ideal for rendering lens flares, fire bursts, or starfields over your photo!

Coordinate Alignment

The Position X and Y fields control the anchor point (which is typically the dead center of the overlay image). If your Background is 1000px wide and 1000px tall, setting both X and Y to 500 will place your Overlay directly in the center of the canvas matrix.

100% Private Execution

Unlike major cloud editors that harvest your photography for machine-learning data sets, the Cubbbix Overlay Merge engine processes the pixel array directly within your personal device's RAM memory. Neither the Background nor the Overlay ever contact our servers, ensuring pure digital privacy.

Frequently Asked Questions

The easiest fix natively is to change the Blend Mode dropdown to Multiply. The Multiply algorithm makes pure white pixels completely invisible (transparent), which is an excellent cheat for overlaying logos or text graphics that were saved as JPEGs without an alpha channel.
The coordinates are based on the original resolution of your Background image. If your background is 1920x1080 (HD), select an X Position near 1600-1800, and a Y Position near 900-1000, depending on the scale and size of your overlay element.
Yes! Although SVG is vector-based, modern browsers can interpret SVGs as graphical overlays on an HTML5 canvas layer. However, SVGs must be correctly formatted to avoid layout boundary bugs when rendering to raster pixels. PNG is always the safest standard.
